Earlier this year Red Community and Manumit Coffee Roasters conspired to dream up a creative way of marking Anti Slavery Day 2018. We came up with Sack Slavery!

We have challenged dozens of local artists and creatives and young people and survivors of modern slavery to create works of art around the theme of Freedom using coffee sacks as a canvas to be displayed at a special exhibition.

We are delighted to announce that the Sack Slavery exhibition will be taking place at Cardiff’s Sustainable Studio on Thursday 18th October - Anti Slavery Day! The event will commence at 6:30pm and will feature:

• Art exhibition

• Creative workshops

• live music

• Kids corner (yes, kids are very welcome!)

• Photo Booth

• Coffee cupping with Manumit

• And loads more!

The event will be totally FREE so please do make an effort to come down and join us as we mark Anti Slavery Day by creatively declaring FREEDOM!
